Spinning circle displayed after I select my answer, web-based training in the MIT Learning Center

I am taking a web-based training in the MIT Learning Center. One of the slides requires me to select an answer. After selecting an answer, I see a spinning ball. What does this mean?

Solution

The spinning ball is an indicator for you to click the Submit button in order to submit your answer.

Click Submit to proceed to the next slide.
