Office 365 Email and Calendaring - Configure via IMAP Settings

Settings

Some email clients, such as Thunderbird, Evolution and Pine, require you to connect to your email server via the IMAP protocol. These are the IMAP settings you need to use for Office 365 Email and Calendaring.

• Username: your-username@mit.edu
• Server: outlook.office365.com
• Server type: IMAP
• Port: 993
• Encryption method: SSL/TLS
• Authentication: OAUTH2

Outgoing

• Outgoing server: outgoing.mit.edu
• Port: 465 or 587
• Connection type: SSL
• Authentication: Normal password
