Obtain phone number of (identifying a call instance on) any phone

If you're not sure what the phone number is for an ISDN, analog, or VoIP phone, dial 9400 (the same way you would make any call). A recording will tell you the phone number, without area code.

If the ISDN phone has multiple instances (lines), be sure to press the button associated with that line before dialing. For a VoIP phone, the same function will work, but you will need to press the button beneath the word "Send" on the phones screen after pressing 9400.
