MITvoip Telephone Call Forwarding

You can use your MITvoip phone to forward your incoming calls to another number. The MITvoip Web Interface offers additional forwarding features.

When your calls are forwarded, incoming calls will ring once on your desk phone to remind you that forwarding is active.

Forwarding Calls with the Telephone User Interface

You can forward calls to any number. To send callers directly to voice mail, forward calls to the voice mail access number (617-258-6245).

  1. Dial *72 followed by the ten-digit number where you want to forward your calls.
  2. Press #.
    Result: You will hear a busy signal.

To turn off call forwarding, dial *73. A busy signal confirms that call forwarding is deactivated.

Forwarding Calls with the MITvoip Web Interface

The MITvoip Web Interface offers simple call forwarding similar to that offered with traditional telephone service, plus additional advanced options such as simultaneous ringing, forwarding sequences, and forwarding by group. Follow the links below for detailed instructions.
