Q: Is there a Maximum File Upload Size for MIT Wikis

• I can't upload large files to MIT Wikis. Why not?
• How large of a file can I attach to my wiki space?

Answer

There is currently a 50MB size limit on uploads.

For the sharing of larger files, we recommend sharing through AFS/Athena lockers. For sharing with users outside the institute, you might consider using a third-party file sharing service. See below for an article with some important considerations for this.
