Q: I'm using Emacs over telnet using NCSA Telnet and the control keys don't function properly.

Answer

In NCSA Telnet:

  1. Go to Edit / Preferences/ Sessions.
  2. Click the Change button.
  3. Make sure the fields "Interrupt," "Suspend," and "Resume" are blank.
  4. Click OK.
