Q: How to Find Serial Number on An Apple Computer running macOS Ventura or higher

Starting in macOS Ventura (Version 13), the process of finding the serial number/version number of the computer has changed to the steps below:

Step 1:

From the Apple logo on the left corner of the machine, choose "System Settings" (formally System Preferences)

Step 2:

From the side bar in System Settings, choose "General" and then choose "About"

Step 3:

On this pane you will see both your serial number and also the version of the macOS you are running.
