Q: Enable JavaScript in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari

Answer

If JavaScript has been disabled in recent versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari, here is how to turn it on again.

  • In Firefox, go to Firefox > Preferences > Content, then click to check Enable JavaScript.
  • In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Security, then click to check Enable JavaScript.
  • In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security, then click Custom Level. Scroll to the Scripting section. Under Active Scripting, click Enable, then close and restart IE.
