Configure RT queue to disallow ticket creation and be visible only to queue administrators
Question
What if queue administrators want to be disallow new ticket creation for a queue, and remove its visibility to most anyone other than the queue administrators, but still be able to retrieve tickets from the queue in search results?
Answer
- Remove all scrips for the queue.
- Remove access for everyone except queue administrators.
- Set the email addresses for the queue to empty.
The queue will still appear in a list of queues to the queue administrators and RT administrators, but no one else.
