Adding Google Analytics to Track Site Traffic

Return to Drupal Cloud Landing Page

Google Analytics can provide you with information about activity on your site. You will need to sign up with Google to get an account and tracking code number. You will add that number into a configuration page on your site (see register your site with Google Analytics).

  1. Complete the process to get your analytics account and tracking number (see link above).
  2. Click Configuration, then System, then Google Analytics.
  3. Paste your tracking number into the box.
  4. Under Tracking scope, make any specific settings to track or not track Pages, Roles or Users.
