Request Tracker

Definition

Also commonly known as RT, Request Tracker is an open source trouble ticket system developed by Best Practical Solutions. It is the central ticket tracking and Help Desk tool in use at MIT, and is used by over 50 departments with more than 250 queues for tickets of all kinds, ranging from IT requests to subscription management and physical fitness questions.
